CONFERENCE AiMS
The 2025 Gender Conference aims to accelerate gender equality and social inclusion in food, land, and water systems by identifying evidence-based solutions, fostering collaboration among global stakeholders, and driving policy and innovation that empower women, youth and socially excluded groups for a more sustainable and resilient future.
Identify evidence-based solutions to reduce gender gaps, address their root causes, and empower youth in Food, Land, and Water Systems
Identify effective and promising innovations or interventions, as well as those that have not been successful, that reduce gender gaps, empower women, youth, and socially excluded groups and tackle the structural causes of gender and social inequality in agrifood systems, to learn from both successes and challenges.
Explore how causal impact assessments can be used to generate evidence on the effectiveness of innovations in reducing gender inequality and enhancing social inclusion and explore their application across various stages and scales within Food, Land, and Water Systems.
Promote and explore innovative approaches that drive gender equality and social inclusion, while supporting youth and youth-led innovations in fostering transformative change across Food, Land, and Water Systems.
Explore innovative solutions to address the challenges posed by the poly-crisis of climate change, environmental degradation, geopolitical instability, and evolving consumption patterns.
